New sneakers,
new territories
This conference is designed to help organizations reflect on the need to address, with new tools, the unforeseen demands of an exponentially changing future.
We will explore the new skills that are becoming important in current and future contexts, the attributes of great team players, and where successful teams should focus their attention.
Alex Roca, together with Carme, who lends her voice to his words, will invite us through a beautiful narrative to learn not only about his life story but also to understand the keys that have led him to build a wonderfully imperfect team, with which he has overcome sporting challenges unattainable for many athletes and teams made up of ‘normal’ people.
Alex and his disability to be able incorporates the essence of new teams supported by vulnerable leaders.

Alex Roca Campillo contracted herpes simplex virus encephalitis at six months old, which resulted in cerebral palsy and a 76% physical disability, leaving him with limited mobility on the left side of his body. He communicates using sign language.
Throughout his life, he has faced many obstacles, overcoming them with great effort and dedication. Currently, he has an education, a job, a car, a partner, and a ‘normal’ life.
For him, sport is a vital part of his daily life, as he sees it as a way of life and a means of self-improvement. He has completed 5 triathlons, participated in the 2018 Titan Desert, and finished the 2018 Pilgrim Race.
In 2019, he fulfilled two of his greatest dreams: completing a Half Marathon 21 km and finishing the 2019 Titan Desert, becoming the first person with cerebral palsy to complete it.
